Viewing Desk

The table top started off as one piece
of rough sawn oak from the lumber yard.
It was 4m long and 500mm wide with
bark edges. A chainsaw was used
to split it lengthways and a filler strip
glued in the centre to make it 800mm
wide. After many hours of using an
angle grinder and sanders it was ready
for its 6 coats of (water based) varnish !
